The Changing Face of the Media and Wine

Perhaps nothing helps to explain the changing face of the media as the rise of social networking, blogging and the rise of the truly independent source.
Content it seems, is truly king for the first time in the media.
For wine, according to the owner of my wine of the month club, that’s a really, really good thing.
For too long only the largest and most well funded wineries have been able to be featured in the mainstream press, now it seems that anyone making truly outstanding wine, assuming they have a decent idea how to market themselves, can find themselves at the center of the wine world if only for a short time.
